comment to power

Ilike how you found an example in the first Act and expalined how M is reacting to the possiblility of gainig and achieving more power .Yes he is a good warrior. Now what I want you to do is prove wha tyou are saying. Where is your evidence in the text to back that up. This will help develop your writng. Bring in the quotes where you see ithaving impact ot to show where he is tempted to gain more power etc... and then you explain how tha tchanges him.

Macbeth Response

Act 1 in Macbeth can connect to the term "Power", which is the ability to do or act.  After the witches told Macbeth that he would be king, it went straight to his head.  Macbeth is a very courageous warrior, but his reaction to what the witches said clearly shows his desire to become the king.  This also connects to the essential question "How does power corrupt?", Macbeth's reaction to what the witches' said shows how he has already started to change because of the power he thinks he's going to have.
