Image connecting to my short story

For my image, i chose herring snacks.  This image connects to my short story because it is the start of all the commotion in A & P.  If the girl didn't have to get these snacks, Lengel wouldn't have told the girls to wear decent clothing and the main character wouldn't have quit.  All of those things happened just because a girl had to get a 49 cent snack for her mother.  This just goes to show, that the little things do make a difference.
